Bloomington, Ind. -- Turned Products, Inc. and Quantum Machining Technologies LLC, providers of precision machined products, and sister-company SilverStream LLC, manufacturer and distributor of the Dishmaster?Kitchen Faucet have announced they will relocate Bloomington operations to Mitchell, Indiana. The move will immediately create three new positions while retaining existing associates. Projected move completion date is April 30, 2008.
Founded in 1988 as a contract-machining supplier to Otis Elevator Company, Turned Products rapidly expanded with the addition of other industrial, automotive, military, medical and aerospace customers. Quantum Machining was established to serve automotive, truck, and heavy equipment OEM customer’s needs for a reliable contract-machining source for gray iron castings. The shift to offshore outsourcing by many US customers since 2000 has caused significant loss of business. However, through hard work and perseverance, the company has survived and been successful in creating new, strong business relationships.
SilverStream acquired Dishmaster?in 2004 and re-located the business from Pontiac, Michigan to Bloomington. Dishmaster?Kitchen Faucets have been manufactured since 1948 and are sold throughout the United States and world-wide with particularly strong presence in California, Michigan, Arizona and Florida. Dishmaster?is sold through major retail chains, independent retailers, and via the Internet. Company growth is contributed to innovation, quality and on-time delivery.
